Oliver Nuttall finalist for Young Engineer Apprentice in UK
Oliver Nuttall was a finalist for the The Pump Centre Young Engineer Awards 2026!
Ollie’s journey with us began nearly three years ago as a fitter. While building pumpsets, he focussed on his studies towards his Beng (Hons) Level 6 Engineering Degree and that technical "hands-on" experience recently saw him deservedly promoted to Customer Support Engineer.

He has successfully used his workshop experience to transition into a customer-focused role, and this shortlisting is a great testament to his hard work and his aspirations to build a long standing career in the pump industry”
Ollie said:
"The interview and presentation process was a challenge, but it was a great opportunity to reflect on everything I've learned. I'm really proud to be representing Pioneer Pump at the finals tomorrow!"
We couldn’t be prouder of how far Ollie has come, from the workshop floor to a national final.
