Expansion to new UK facility
At Pioneer Pump, we’re excited to announce a major step forward in our growth journey. We invested in a new UK facility with a 560% larger footprint to accommodate increasing demand.
As specialists in centrifugal pumps, self-priming pumps, wet prime pumps, electric pumps, and diesel pumps for agriculture, industrial, mining, municipal, and oil and gas applications, we’ve outgrown our 10,000 sq ft site near Stowmarket, Suffolk. We relocated to a much larger 66,000 sq ft facility in Hadleigh, gaining an additional 56,000 sq ft to support our expanding operations.
Our new home features two 33,000 sq ft warehouse units, designed to enhance efficiency and streamline production as we continue to grow.
A sustainable approach to expansion for our pump manufacturing
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. With our new facility, rather than starting from scratch, we have repurposed the brownfield site to minimise environmental impact. We’ve installed energy-efficient LED motion-activated lighting and infrared heating, and we’re planning to add solar panels to further reduce our energy consumption.
Transforming operations
“Our new facility has completely transformed how we operate,” says Hugh Langley, managing director at Pioneer Pump. “At our old site, inefficiencies slowed us down - retrieving a single part could take up to an hour. Now, with a modern warehouse and production facility, we’re working smarter and delivering faster for our customers.
“And we’re just getting started. We’ve only developed one of the two warehouses so far, and we have big plans for expansion over the next five years that will put us in an even stronger position.”
With our move complete and operations running smoothly, the future has never looked brighter. Performance through innovation has always been our driving force, and with our expanded facility, we’re ready to take on the next chapter of growth and success.
